THE NEW ERREÀ TI-ENERGY FABRIC IS OFFICIALLY ANTI-VIRAL!
The new yarn used to produce Ti-energy has received an exceptional seal of approval.
Designed and developed by Erreà Sport's Research and Development Department, Ti-energy has antiviral properties, which have now been scientifically quantified through laboratory testing.
Studies have shown that, when exposed to the HCov-OC43 coronavirus in the lab, the Ti-Energy fabric is able to massively reduce the viral load, with a reduction of 4.5 logafter 1 hour of contact. In other words, the Ti-Energy fabric was found to have the potential to reduce viral contamination from the HCoV-OC43 coronavirus by more than 99.9% compared to initial contamination levels during laboratory tests.
This extraordinary achievement in the world of fabrics was made possible by the use of two separate technologies: Minusnine J1+ treatment makes the fabric super-impermeable to liquids, while the zinc oxide nanoparticles, permanently encapsulated in the fibres, have antimicrobial properties. This dual function allows the fabric to form an effective protective barrier against droplets, liquids and micro-organisms (bacteria, fungi and viruses).
Parma Calcio 1913 will be the first club in the Italian Serie A championship to take to the field wearing this unrivalled, highly technical yarn, able to help keep their players safe.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, Ti-energy will also be available to all clubs, across all sports and levels, that want to use it to increase and enhance the safety of their athletes.
A unique, momentous accomplishment, which reaffirms Erreà's commitment to continuing to experiment and improve, always taking all players into account and making their protection its top priority.
