Erreà Sport becomes the official technical sponsor of the LBA, Italy’s Basket Serie A league

Erreà Sport is pleased to announce that it is the new official technical sponsor of the LBA, Italy’s Basket Serie A league.  

As a result of this important agreement Erreà will, for the next two seasons, accompany and take part in all the major events usually organised by the league. This includes the Final Eight of the Italian Cup, that in 2019 will once again take place at the Mandela Forum in Florence from 14 to 17 February, and the Italian Super Cup as well as the new and further initiatives promoted by the league, like the hugely successful and newly created Next Gen Cup. The finals of the Next Gen Cup in 2019 will also share an exceptional sporting stage, when it combines with the Final Eight in Florence in February. This is a collaboration that will, at the same time, guarantee Erreà maximum visibility and the LBA a renewed image.    

The LBA (Lega Basket Serie A) was founded on 27 May 1970 and organises Italy’s top-tier basketball division, thanks to an agreement signed with the Italian Basketball Federation, that entrusts it with specific areas of responsibility in this regard. In addition to Serie A, the LBA also organises the Italian Basketball Super Cup and the Final Eight, that assigns the Italian Cup, reserved for the eight best teams in the first half of the regular season. The LBA recently launched the Next Gen Cup, a youth tournament for the 16 under-18s teams in Serie A.
